I’m backing Toronto minus the points. Wizards’ vet Paul Pierce may feel confident in claiming the Raptors…”don’t have the IT that makes you feel worried,” but the Raptors do have the experience of dropping the ball in round-one of the postseason just a year ago, which may prove to season this team for the 2015 opening round.

I’m recommending a play on the Red Sox on Friday. Ubaldo Jimenez pitched seven shutout innings against Toronto but now the right-hander has to go to Fenway Park where he has a 9.45 ERA the last three years and overall he’s 1-3 with a 9.33 ERA vs the Red Sox.

I’m recommending a play on Baltimore on Tuesday night. I had the Yankees last night and we cashed, but I’m switching sides in this one. C.C. Sabathia allowed five runs and eight hits in 5.2 innings in his first start after missing most of last season due to knee surgery.
April 10th, 2015
I’m recommending a play on Baltimore on Friday. Baltimore is one of the few teams that Mark Buehrle has not had much success against over the years especially on the road.
April 6th, 2015
I’m backing the underdog Minnesota Twins on Monday afternoon. We probably won’t be on the Twins too often this season, but we have a spot on Monday where they’re under-priced.

I’m laying the points with Evansville. Northern Arizona won and covered against NJIT on Tuesday night despite shooting only 30 percent from the floor which seems nearly impossible.

I’m recommending a play on the Blazers minus the points. Tough spot tonight for the Clippers after exerting a lot of energy in a loss last night to the Warriors.
March 29th, 2015
I’m recommending a play on Michigan State minus the points. Michigan State is on a 10-4 ATS run and beat Oklahoma on Friday while shooting only 38.6 percent from the floor while averaging 47 percent going into the game.
March 27th, 2015
I’m laying the points with Michigan State on Friday. Tom Izzo once again has his team peaking at the right time as Michigan State has won six of its last seven games, including an upset win against Virginia on Sunday.
March 23rd, 2015
I’m laying the points with Cleveland State. The Vikings are coming off an 86-57 win at Western Michigan to improve its ATS road record to 10-6 this season and 21-8 dating to last season.
March 20th, 2015
I’m recommending a play on Michigan State minus the points in Friday’s Big Dance tilt with Georgia. The Spartans have won 10 of their last 14 games, but they don’t qualify as a suddenly hot team that fought their way into the Big Dance; we tend to look to go against some of those teams.
March 17th, 2015
I’m recommending a play on BYU minus the points on Tuesday night. Mississippi has lost four of its last five games and hasn’t had a decent win since Jan. 19 at Arkansas. The 60-58 loss against a bad South Carolina team was especially ugly since both teams shot 30 percent from the floor.
March 14th, 2015
I’m recommending a play on UConn minus the points. First, it was Kemba Walker, then Shabazz Napier and now Ryan Boatwright who is almost single-handedly trying to get Connecticut into the NCAA tournament.
March 13th, 2015
Arkansas is set for the NCAA tournament but the Razorbacks still have plenty of incentive because they’re determined to win their first conference tournament game since 2008.
March 11th, 2015
These teams ended the regular season at opposite ends of the spectrum as Penn State had a last-minute upset win at Minnesota while Nebraska suffered a heartbreaking loss against Maryland in its last home game of the season.
