Chicago Bulls vs Houston Rockets NBA Free Pick 02/04/15
Play Houston Rockets -2.5.
The Bulls won the first meeting of the season 114-105 in Chicago, but I think the Rockets will return the favor tonight. The hosts were coming to Detroit Saturday on the back off four consecutive wins but failed to make that five on the bounce against the Pistons. They’ve responded well to losses in the past though, going 13-3 ATS in their last 16 following a S.U. loss and are 6-1 ATS in their last seven at home. Chicago has lost three of its last four, partly due to sub-par shooting from long distance. Derrick Rose in particular has suffered, going a lowly 5-for-31 from beyond the arc over those games. That won’t cut it tonight if they want to keep up with a Rockets team that ranks near the top of the league for made three-pointers.
The Rockets have covered in five of the last seven meetings and are coming in well rested. They’re 5-1 ATS in their last six playing on three or more days of rest and I pick the hosts to cover 2.5 points as my free play.
