The Memphis Grizzlies are in a prime position to cover the spread against the Minnesota Timberwolves with several key players returning to the lineup.

With the return of Ja Morant and Dillon Brooks, the Grizzlies are poised to take control of the game. Jaren Jackson Jr. has also been a standout player, particularly on the defensive end. He’s averaging 16.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game and contributed with five blocks in the win over the Bulls. The increased minutes for Xavier Tillman, Santi Aldama and Brandon Clarke, as well as the solid performance of Desmond Bane, give the Grizzlies a well-rounded lineup.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are coming off an impressive win against the Utah Jazz, but are undergoing roster changes after the recent trade deadline. The absence of Karl-Anthony Towns due to injury, as well as the absence of Rudy Gobert, Kyle Anderson, and Austin Rivers, may affect their performance against the Grizzlies. Although Anthony Edwards and Jaylen Nowell are dynamic young players in the backcourt, the Timberwolves may have trouble finding their footing on the court.
