Houston Texans vs. Pittsburgh Steelers NFL Free Pick And Preview
The Houston Texans (3-3) are coming to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers (3-3) in an AFC matchup on Monday Night Football. With both teams sitting at .500 at this point, this is a huge game as far as their playoff dreams are concerned.
Houston are coming off two consecutive losses, ranking 28th in the league in passing but have a decent running game ranking 9th, moving the ball 129 yards per game on the ground. Arian Foster has 106 carries for 513 yards and five TDs so far. The Texans are 4-1 ATS in their last five on grass and 5-2 ATS in their last seven overall.
The Steelers are continuing to alternate wins and losses as they are coming off a 31-10 defeat at Cleveland. They are 4th in rushing offense and 8th in the league in passing offense, but QB Roethlisberger might find himself struggle to get his game going tonight, as he’ll be up against J.J. Watt, Houston’s star defensive end who leads the NFL with 20 hits on quarterbacks this season. Roethlisberger has been quite exposed so far, already getting sacked 17 times for the second-highest total in the NFL entering Week 7. The Texans D might be bolstered even further with the return of rookie linebacker Jadeveon Clowney.
Pittsburgh looked terrible against the Browns while the Texans at least gave the Colts a run for their money their last game, even hough they ended up losing 33-28 in the end.
Expect a tight game, where the Steelers may get away with the W but it should not be by more than a field goal.
Play on: Houston Texans +3.5
