Two struggling teams will face off at Prudential Center tonight as the Devils are hosting the Wild. Minnesota is coming off three consecutive losses getting outscored 11-2, but maybe it can get some offense going tonight against a Devils team that are conceding 3.2 goals on average and have allowed 13 over their last four games, all losses.

Cory Schneider have conceded eight goals over his last two games while making only 39 saves combined but the other two options, Scott Clemmensen and Keith Kinkaid have not impressed either. The Wild are averaging close to 35 shots per game so whoever is tending the net will be a busy man, and the Wild might even be able to improve on their poor power play stats against the Devils lowly penalty kill, ranked last in the league. The Wild will stick a well rested Darcy Kuemper in net, and he always gives his team a chance of winning with his 1.99 GAA.

I think two or three goals scored will be enough for the visitors to take this one down, so the under is also an option worth considering. I like the price we get on the visitors though, especially as the Devils are coming straight from a 4-2 loss at Boston last night, so my free play is on the Minnesota Wild to leave New Jersey as winners.
