MLB Odds: Story Leads Rockies into Wrigley

The Chicago Cubs (7-1, +5.77 units) are already off to a great start to their 2016 campaign, but while they’ve lost one of their own talents in Kyle Schwarber when he tore up his left knee in a nasty outfield collision with teammate Dexter Fowler last week, the biggest story in baseball right now is: Trevor Story.
The rookie shortstop has already reached the seats seven times in his first eight games for the Colorado Rockies (4-4, +0.20 units), who will visit Wrigley Field for the opener of a three-game series this Friday at 2:20 PM ET on the MLB Network.

Story was a first-round pick for the Rockies in 2011, and toiled away quietly in the minors before cracking their 2016 Opening Day roster with a strong performance in spring training. He’s a power hitter with speed, both of which were on display Wednesday night when Story hit a pair of triples in a 10-6 victory over the San Francisco Giants (+150 away).
