Money Teams in the MLB 2015
With less than 1 1/2 months left of the regular season, let’s take a look at which teams that have made and cost the bettors the most so far this season in regards to sides and totals. Those are our “money teams” in baseball 2015:
Flat bets of $100 on last season’s World Series runners-up the Kansas City Royals would have made you a nice profit of $2620 so far this season. Their .616 winning percentage is enough for a second place in the overall standings after the St. Louis Cardinals who are second on this list with $2500 earned for customers who would have put a $100 on them to win in all their games so far. In third we surprisingly enough find the Texas Rangers who are just 12th in the majors with a .512 win %. They’ve often come at a good price though and would have brought $100 flat bettors a profit of $2005 on the season.
In last place we find the Oakland Ahtletics who would have cost you $2440, and they’re also near the bottom of the overall standings with a win % of .430.
We have no exact records of units won/lost for totals but we can determine that the San Diego Padres’ games have gone over the total 59.8% of the time, the Philadelphia Phillies 57.3% and the Detroit Tigers 55.8%. The biggest “under teams” are the St. Louis Cardinals (60.2%), the Baltimore Orioles (55.1%) and the Houston Astros (54.9%). It definitely looks like the more successful teams in the majors are more likely to go under the total.
