Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Golden State Warriors NBA Free Pick
Play On: Oklahoma City Thunder +3.
The Golden State Warriors saw their 16 game winning streak come to an end in Memphis on Tuesday, and I’m not so convinced that they are going to be able to jump right back on the horse tonight. The Warriors host the red hot Oklahoma City Thunder, who come in riding a seven game win streak of their own.
Russell Westbrook scored 32 points in a win over Sacramento Tuesday, and he’s averaged 30 points over his last four games. Kevin Durant has been easing back into action, but he logged a season high 36 minutes in the win over the Kings. Moving forward, we should expect things to be business as usual for Durant, with no more limit to his playing time.
The Thunder are still a half game back of the Pelicans who own the eighth and final playoff spot in the West, so they need all the points they can get. The Warriors own a slim half game lead over Memphis for the league’s best record, but they are still without Andrew Bogut and David Lee, leaving them with an undersized lineup.
Oklahoma City owns the best opponent’s scoring average in the NBA, allowing just 93.9 points per game. The Thunder have covered the points in five of their last six versus the Warriors, and four of their last five visits to ORACLE Arena.
