Penn State Nittany Lions vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers Free Pick 03/11/15
I’m recommending a play on the Penn State Nittany Lions -1.5 on Wednesday.
These teams ended the regular season at opposite ends of the spectrum as Penn State had a last-minute upset win at Minnesota while Nebraska suffered a heartbreaking loss against Maryland in its last home game of the season. This gives the momentum and advantage to the Nittany Lions who will probably end up somewhere in the postseason with a win today while the Cornhuskers’ season will end in the conference tournament, a far cry from a preseason top-25 ranking. The Lions won the only meeting between the teams 56-43 on Feb. 7. Penn State outrebounded the Huskers 35-23 and held them to just 30 percent from the floor.
Nebraska has lost eight in a row covering the number in just one of those games and have been especially poor away from Lincoln. Somewhere along the line, Tim Miles lost this team and it has shown on the road. Look for Penn State to get the win and cover on Wednesday. I’m recommending a play on the Nittany Lions. Thanks & GL!
