|03-28-19||Magic +3.5 v. Pistons||Top||98-115||Loss||-108||9 h 48 m||Show|
Orlando at Detroit 7:00 ET
Magic (+) over Pistons- Don't look now but, the Magic have won six straight and lead the NBA Southeast with a half-game lead over Miami. Despite leading the division Orlando is still just an eighth seed so they must actually win the division or the fall short of making the playoffs. Detroit has played better of late themselves against the spread going 3-0-1 ATS but are just 1-4 SU in the last five overall. In head-to-head action Orlando is 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings against the Pistons as Detroit is just 9-19 ATS in their last 28 versus the NBA Southeast. Take the MAGIC!
|03-27-19||Colorado v. Texas -5.5||Top||55-68||Win||100||10 h 21 m||Show|
Colorado at Texas 9:00 ET
Longhorns (-) over Buffaloes- Both these clubs won a pair of NIT games at home and will meet in Austin as the second seeded Longhorns will host. But, other then both teams willing to get here they have come by different routes with Colorado getting two covers and are 6-2 ATS in their last eight overall while Texas lost five of their last six until playing in the NIT but haven't covered (0-5 ATS) since March 2. It appears that the Buffaloes would be the side but a glaring weakness on the road has them 6-12 ATS on the road. Take TEXAS!
|03-26-19||Blackhawks v. Coyotes -125||Top||0-1||Win||100||10 h 2 m||Show|
Chicago at Arizona 10:00 ET
Coyotes over Blackhawks- After a five-game wining streak Chicago has dropped three of four but are off of a 2-1 overtime win over Colorado. Arizona has lost five straight scoring just six goals in their last five games and yet come up favored at home here. In the last meeting the Blackhawks defeated Arizona 7-1 as the favorite is 10-2 in the last 12 meetings. Chicago although 10-2 in their last 12 at Arizona they are 18-37 as a dog between +110 and +150 in their last 55. Take the COYOTES!
|03-26-19||Clippers v. Wolves +2.5||Top||122-111||Loss||-101||9 h 2 m||Show|
LA Clippers at Minnesota 8:05 ET
Timberwolves (+) over Clippers- The LA Clippers who have won five straight and 11 of the last 12 as they hold a half-game lead in the four-way battle for the 5th playoff spot in the West. Minnesota who has had a year to forget about (starting with the Jimmy Butler desertion) is out of the playoffs but haven't quit on the season and is still playing hard. The T'wolves surprisingly are 23-11 straight-up at home and are 4-1 ATS in their last five meetings against the Clippers. Karl-Anthony Towns scored 25 points with 20 rebounds for the second time in three games on Saturday and is leading the way. Take MINNESOTA!
|03-26-19||Wichita State v. Indiana -3.5||Top||73-63||Loss||-109||7 h 27 m||Show|
Wichita State at Indiana 7:00 ET
Hoosiers (-) over Shockers- Both these clubs have picked-up their pace in the later part of the season as the Shockers are 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 and Indiana is 7-2 ATS in their last nine. The Hoosiers who had a nine-game losing streak this season are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games are up against a Wichita State team that 8-0 ATS on the road against teams with a winning record. In this spot it's INDIANA!
|03-25-19||76ers v. Magic +2.5||Top||98-119||Win||100||8 h 16 m||Show|
Philadelphia at Orlando 7:00 ET
Magic (+) over 76ers- Both these clubs are looking to sew up playoff spots as the 76ers via for the third spot in the East and Orlando is hunting down Miami for the final spot. The Magic have won their last four making a valiant push for the final seed. The 76ers haven't been the best on the road 15-20 ATS and will finish on the road in seven of their final 10 games while Orlando is 8-3 ATS in their last 11 home games and 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 games versus the Atlantic Division. Take ORLANDO!
|03-24-19||Ohio State +6 v. Houston||Top||59-74||Loss||-110||21 h 39 m||Show|
Ohio State vs Houston 8:40 ET
Buckeyes (+) over Cougars- Sometimes teams that had potential and never lived up to it mesh together at season's end. Surly a season with 14 losses is well more than Ohio State had played for but a few wins as underdogs during the tournament puts in all in the distant past. Houston is a monster no question but there are concerns over the strength of schedule and the lack of big-game pressure. Note that they blew their conference championship for the second year in a row after winning the regular season title both seasons. The Cougars are 34-16-2 ATS in their last 52 games overall and the Buckeyes are 5-0 ATS in their last five games at neutral sites. Take OHIO STATE!
|03-23-19||Pistons +5 v. Blazers||Top||112-117||Push||0||11 h 50 m||Show|
Detroit at Portland 10:00 ET
Pistons (+) over Trailblazers- Without much notice or fan fare the Pistons have played steady basketball the past five weeks winning 15 of their last 20 games straight up. Portland on the other hand have been steady most of the season and they have won five of their last six. Detroit has been doing it in a big was as they are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games following a win by 10-points or more. Add that the Pistons are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings closes the deal for me...take DETROIT!
|03-23-19||Villanova v. Purdue -3.5||Top||61-87||Win||100||19 h 29 m||Show|
Villanova vs Purdue 8:40 ET
Boilermakers (-) over Wildcats- My first impression of this match-up was that they had the wrong team favored until I actually paid attention to the seedings. I hadn't realized that Purdue at 24-9 was a No. 3 seed while Villanova at 26-9 was seeded sixth. Now, honestly doesn't that seem a bit off and maybe it's not as the Big Ten is 6-0 in their first six games of the Tournament. Looking at the history here we can see that the Wildcats are 11-2 ATS in their last 13 meetings against the Big Ten and 14-3 ATS in their last 17 NCAA contests. Purdue is just 2-7 ATS in their last nine games against the Big East. So, why is Purdue getting all this respect. Villanova has been sputtering of late going just 4-6 ATS in their last 10 otherwise it looks too easy. Take PURDUE!
|03-23-19||Penguins v. Stars -115||Top||3-2||Loss||-115||8 h 2 m||Show|
Pittsburgh at Dallas 8:00 ET
Stars over Penguins- This matchup gives us plenty of trends to work with and we will take advantage of what they give us. Let's start with the home team who is 17-5 in the last 22 meetings with the favorite going 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. Add that Pittsburgh is 0-5 in their last five meetings in Dallas. Take the STARS!
|03-22-19||Ohio State +5.5 v. Iowa State||Top||62-59||Win||100||13 h 6 m||Show|
Ohio State vs Iowa State 9:50 ET
Buckeyes (+) over Cyclones- It does seem a bit off that the Big-12 Conference Champion is just a No. 6 seed and it tells the true ranking of the conference. It has not been a stellar season for the Buckeyes who have struggled in NCAA action going 0-8 ATS in their last eight NCAA Tournament games. Iowa State has played well out of conference and is 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine. When you add that Ohio State is 1-7 ATS following an ATS win makes the Cyclones so attractive and that is not good for them. Take the BUCKEYES!
|03-22-19||Thunder +2.5 v. Raptors||Top||116-109||Win||100||10 h 38 m||Show|
Oklahoma City at Toronto 7:30 ET
Thunder (+) over Raptors- Oklahoma City is in the mist of a four-game losing streak with their last loss coming at home against Toronto who recovered to win 123-114 in overtime after blowing a 20-point lead. The Raptors who are just two games behind Milwaukee for the top spot in the East are a meager favorite here and although they are 18-3 in their last 21 at home they have not had great success ATS. Toronto is just 16-20 ATS at home and are 5-12 ATS when hosting the Thunder. Look for OKC to break their mini losing streak tonight. Take OKLAHOMA CITY!
|03-21-19||Baylor +2 v. Syracuse||Top||78-69||Win||100||25 h 51 m||Show|
#9 Baylor vs #8 Syracuse 10:00 ET
Bears (+) over Orange- Both these clubs come limping into the Tournament and are off of what for each of them can be considered disappointing seasons. Syracuse has dropped five of their last seven going 2-5 ATS while Baylor has lost their last four and has just one 'cover' in their last 11 games going 1-8-2 ATS. The Orange have been 'hit' if not run over with late season turmoil and emotions, it's just something they will carry until the season ends Thursday night. The Bears are not big but they led the Big-12 in rebounding margin grabbing 6.3 more boards per game than their opponents. Take BAYLOR!
|03-20-19||Heat +6.5 v. Spurs||Top||110-105||Win||100||8 h 20 m||Show|
Miami at San Antonio 8:30 ET
Heat (+) over Spurs- If trends were all we had to go on this game would be one-sided as the Spurs have turned it around and are the hottest team in the NBA. San Antonio is 9-0 SU and 8-1 ATS in their last nine games including our Megabucks winner over Golden State on Monday. Miami has won their last two but have struggled against the Spurs going 2-10 ATS in the last 12 meetings including 1-4 ATS in their last five meetings in San Antonio. Spurs in a let-down spot here. Take MIAMI!
|03-19-19||St Francis PA v. Indiana -17.5||Top||72-89||Loss||-110||5 h 22 m||Show|
St. Francis (PA) at Indiana 7:00 ET
Hoosiers (-) over Red Flash- Indiana who has lost 13 of their last 18 after a great start to the season (12-2) come limping into the NIT and opened as a 19.5-point favorite. This of course was bet down immediately because of the high stature of their opponent St. Francis better known as Red Flash and will might find out why real soon. The Hoosiers actually closed the regular season strong winning their last four while going 6-0 ATS in their last six overall before falling to Ohio State in the Big Ten tourney. The fact of the matter is the Red Flash will be 'Red-Faced' (Is that considered racist in our academia) after the way the Hoosiers vent on the court. They have to believe that this is their chance to atone for such a disappointing season. Take INDIANA!
|03-18-19||Warriors v. Spurs +2.5||Top||105-111||Win||100||9 h 57 m||Show|
Golden State at San Antonio 8:00 ET
Spurs (+) over Warriors- In early January the Spurs were sputtering along and had seemed to have lost their competitive fire on the road. Well, as they say in Texas don't ever count a Gregg Popovich coached team out 'until the dealing is done.' San Antonio has won eight straight overall and 10 straight at home. This is the best that they have played after their 'rodeo trip' return trip home stand.' These two have split their two meetings and the Warriors most likely will be without Devin Durant for the third straight game. Golden State is off of a National TV blasting of the Thunder Saturday. That was supposed to be a statement win after bouncing back from a loss against Phoenix. Not here...Take SAN ANTONIO!
|03-17-19||Islanders v. Wild -113||Top||3-2||Loss||-113||6 h 10 m||Show|
New York Islanders at Minnesota 6:00 ET
Wild over Isles- After having dropped three straight and five of seven the Wild posted a 5-2 home win over the NY Rangers as a -205 favorite. Home team 4-1 in the last five meetings with the favorite going 5-0 in the last five meetings. The Islanders who lost 2-1 at Detroit yesterday are 1-5 the game after allowing two or less goals. One way for me...Take MINNESOTA!
|03-17-19||Raptors v. Pistons +1.5||Top||107-110||Win||100||5 h 35 m||Show|
Toronto at Detroit 4:00 ET
Pistons (+) over Raptors- This can be a tricky time in NBA evaluation as all of these clubs have their own agenda and it doesn't always have to do with winning. Back-ground noise becomes larger as the season intensifies and decisions on futures are being made. Toronto is looking to position themselves at a physical peak while Detroit is scrabbling for their playoff lives. Both these clubs are off of wins over the Lakers on consecutive nights by almost identical scores of 111-98 and 111-97. The Raptors seem to relax after a straight-up win and are 1-8 ATS in their last nine games following a straight-up win while the Pistons are 8-0 ATS in their last eight home games. Take DETROIT!
|03-17-19||Auburn +5 v. Tennessee||Top||84-64||Win||100||11 h 59 m||Show|
Auburn vs Tennessee 1:00 ET
Tigers (+) over Volunteers- Oh my, and here we go! Bruce Pearl appears with the Tigers looking to shock the Volunteers in the SEC Championship game, something few anticipated four days ago. But now, Auburn has won seven straight and eight of nine and they can do something they haven't done in 34 years. Personally, I am very pleased with Tennessee after their 82-78 Megabucks win over Kentucky yesterday and I would think that an emotional win like that has to wear on you. One's adrenalin and natural juices are pumping until it over comes you even long after the game is over. Hey, Tennessee hasn't won the SEC championship in 40-years themselves. Maybe that's the only real shot Auburn may have because they are 4-10 ATS in the last 14 meetings and the favorite is 18-6 ATS in the last 24 encounters. So, here's the thing, all that, is just going to make this winner that much sweeter! Take AUBURN!
|03-16-19||Blazers +2.5 v. Spurs||Top||103-108||Loss||-108||9 h 12 m||Show|
Portland at San Antonio 8:30 ET
Trailblazers (+) over Spurs- A number of trends surround this fray that support and then wain against both clubs here. To start with San Antonio has won seven straight going 6-1 ATS. This is the fourth meeting with the home team wining the previous three and the Spurs would love to even the series here but, this line is way short. Although Portland is just 3-9 ATS in their last 12 visits to San Antonio but they are currently on a 7-1 ATS road run...take the TRAILBLAZERS!
|03-16-19||Tennessee +2 v. Kentucky||Top||82-78||Win||100||5 h 5 m||Show|
Tennessee vs Kentucky 3:30 ET
Volunteers (+) over Wildcats- These two clubs have battled all year both finished 15-3 in SEC action second only to LSU. After a shaky start the Wildcats have won 17 of their last 19 with their only losses to Tennessee and LSU. Tennessee is 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings and I expect a tough defensive game with the Volunteers getting it done. Take TENNESSEE!
|03-15-19||Duke v. North Carolina +3||Top||74-73||Win||100||11 h 5 m||Show|
Duke vs North Carolina 9:30 ET
Tar Heels (+) over Blue Devils- Well, this is the match-up we all really wanted to see regardless of Virginia's standing. It is said that one of the most difficult things in college basketball among the majors is for one quality team to defeat another three straight time in a single season. North Carolina has defeated the Blue Devils twice this year the first time of course when Zion Williamson went down 35-seconds into the contest and the final game of the season when the Tar Heels won 79-70 as Duke played without Williamson once again. I expect most of the action to come down on the Devils and it mat be a mistake. Take NORTH CAROLINA!
|03-15-19||Bucks v. Heat +5.5||Top||113-98||Loss||-115||8 h 29 m||Show|
Milwaukee at Miami 8:00 ET
Heat (+) over Bucks- Both these clubs are off of huge blowout wins and it was the Bucks ending a 3-game slide by defeating New Orleans 130-113 on Tuesday. Milwaukee with the best record in the East pounded the Heat 124-86 at home on January 15 and I'm sure the Heat remembers it well. That is the only 'cover' the Bucks have against the Heat in the last seven meetings going 1-6 ATS and 0-5 ATS in their last five in Miami! Take the HEAT!
|03-14-19||Texas +3 v. Kansas||Top||57-65||Loss||-110||12 h 58 m||Show|
Texas vs Kansas 9:00 ET
Longhorns (+) over Jayhawks- Kansas who failed to win the Big-12 regular season championship for the first time in 14 years is seeded third the lowest its been since 2003-04. Part of the issue four the Jayhawks this season is that they are playing four freshman for the first time under Bill Self with the other starter a junior transfer from Memphis (Dedric Lawson) who lead the conference in scoring and rebounding. Texas has had another mediocre season under Shaka Smart and is 61-59 in four years since arriving and the alumni pressure to win is starting to surface.The Longhorns who split the season series with the Jayhawks can win here as the near full-season absence of Kansas center Udoka Azubuike has been noticeable. Take TEXAS!
|03-13-19||Notre Dame +7.5 v. Louisville||Top||53-75||Loss||-105||8 h 36 m||Show|
Notre Dame vs. Louisville 7:00 ET
Fighting Irish (+) over Cardinals- Winning yesterday's 'Highest-Rated' Megabucks over Georgia Tech 78-71 Notre Dame ended a seven-game losing streak. Seeded No. 15 the Fighting Irish are now up against No. 7 seed Louisville who received a first round bye. These two faced each other once this season with the Cardinals winning 75-61 with a commanding 49-30 rebounding advantage. Louisville did not finish their ACC season well losing four of five with the lone win against the Irish. That changes again. Take NOTRE DAME!
|03-12-19||Blazers v. Clippers +2.5||Top||125-104||Loss||-110||13 h 6 m||Show|
Portland at L.A. Clippers 10:35 ET
Clippers (+) over Trailblazers- Portland who are off of a win over Oklahoma City Friday had Damian Lillard score 51 points and will become the Trailblazers second-leading scorer in franchise history needing 23 points to pass LaMarcus Aldridge. The Blazers are fifth in the West while the Clippers are next a half-game ahead of San Antonio. Los Angeles has won their last five and are hot at the right time. Take the CLIPPERS!
|03-12-19||Notre Dame -1.5 v. Georgia Tech||Top||78-71||Win||100||5 h 53 m||Show|
Notre Dame vs Georgia Tech 2:30 ET
Fighting Irish over Yellow Jackets- If there ever as a 'Don't make sense' game this one qualifies. Let's look at the 'numbers.' The Irish enter losers of their last seven both SU and ATS and are 12-19 ATS on the season where as Georgia Tech is 19-12 ATS so that is one thing that makes me wonder why ND is favored, but the more startling fact is that they are 1-11-1 ATS in the last 13 meetings against the Yellow Jackets and still come up the favorite here. Add that the Irish are 6-13 ATS in their last overall. This is just not right to me...take NOTRE DAME!
|03-11-19||Pistons +2 v. Nets||Top||75-103||Loss||-105||11 h 38 m||Show|
Detroit at Brooklyn 7:35 ET
Pistons (+) over Nets- After inconsistent performances of late Detroit and Brooklyn have have put together wins for their stretch run looking to secure a playoff spot. The Pistons have turned it on and have four four straight and eight of their last nine while the Nets have won their last three after three straight losses. Although Detroit is just 5-12 ATS in the 17 meetings the combo of Griffin and Drummond have helped Detroit turn the corner. Take the PISTONS!
|03-10-19||Iowa v. Nebraska +1.5||Top||91-93||Win||100||5 h 0 m||Show|
Iowa at Nebraska 2:00 ET
Cornhuskers (+) over Hawkeyes- There is a huge difference in the level of play between these two with Iowa of course having a much better club but they do have something in common. Both have been money burners for their backers as Iowa is 0-7 ATS in their last seven games overall and the Cornhuskers are 3-13 ATS in their last 16 overall. So, okay, where do we find the key to the winner?Let's look at head-to-head action first and see that the home team is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings but the key is their home and away records. The Huskers are 11-5 SU as hosts while Iowa is just 4-5 on the road and more importantly they allow only 63.6 points at home over 16 points less than on the road. Take NEBRASKA!
|03-09-19||Celtics v. Lakers +6||Top||120-107||Loss||-109||10 h 20 m||Show|
Boston at L.A. Lakers 8:35 ET
Lakers (+) over Celtics- In yesteryear this would have been a great match-up and even today with Kyrie Irving and LeBron James going at it recalls days of the 'Bird and Magic' show, but it doesn't look that way now. As it is now Irving sits whenever and now James is going to play limited minutes. Despite the kind of season it has been for both these clubs the Lakers are 18-15 straight-up at home while Boston is just 13-18-1 ATS on the road. With the kind of media abuse LA has been going through this is a time to rise and the fact that the Celtics are having teams issues of their own gives 'us' a side. With Laker pride moving to the forefront here...Take LOS ANGELES!
|03-09-19||Duke +4.5 v. North Carolina||Top||70-79||Loss||-115||10 h 32 m||Show|
Duke at North Carolina 6:00 ET
Blue Devils (+) over Tar Heels- Oh, what a good one this should be as No. 4 Duke visits No. 3 North Carolina in Chapel Hill. We should all remember the first matchup when the Tar Heels whipped Duke 88-72 as Zion Williamson's shoe exploded as some 11-year old in China didn't complete the Nike stitching properly. Without Williamson the Blue Devils are not as formidable but still are a beast when on the court as they are 18-7-1 ATS in the last 26 meetings overall against Carolina including 9-3-1 ATS as visitors in the series. Although Carolina is 9-4 ATS in their last 13 this one should come down to the final buzzer with the Blue Devils prevailing against the 'number.' Take DUKE!
|03-09-19||Tennessee v. Auburn +3||Top||80-84||Win||100||3 h 20 m||Show|
Tennessee at Auburn 12:00 ET
Tigers (+) over Volunteers- The 'numbers' behind the Volunteers are season are impressive indeed as they are worthy of their No. 4 ranking. At 27-3 straight-up Tennessee has proven their medal with a huge revenge win over Kentucky and a 17-8 ATS road record in their last 25 games away from Knoxville. Auburn at 21-9 is winning at a 70% clip and are 14-6 ATS in the last 20 meetings and yet have won just two of the last 13 meetings SU. The 'price' of this contest is way to short and the oddsmakers are looking for a Tigers upset and so am I...Take AUBURN!
|03-08-19||Pistons v. Bulls +4||Top||112-104||Loss||-103||11 h 59 m||Show|
Detroit at Chicago 8:05 ET
Bulls (+) over Pistons- With wins in 10 of their last 12 games Detroit has move into the No. 6 seed in the NBA East and have won their last three by scoring an average 124 points. The Piston have two victories over Chicago this season both coming early in the season in October and November. The Bulls have picked up their play as well winning six of their last nine being led by Zack LaVine who has had 30 or more points in four straight games. In head-to-head action the Pistons are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings but most of that damage was in Detroit as the home team (including at Chicago is 9-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings. Take CHICAGO!
|03-07-19||Avalanche v. Stars -120||Top||0-4||Win||100||12 h 39 m||Show|
Colorado at Dallas 8:30 ET
Stars over Avalanche- Dallas who has won three in a row and moved into the top spot for the Wildcard spot in the Western Conference. Colorado just ended a three game losing streak but are just 3-11 in their last 14 games following a win. Not onlY is the favorite 7-3 in the last 10 meetings but Dallas is 5-1 against Colorado is their last six meetings as hosts. Take DALLAS!
|03-06-19||Flames v. Golden Knights -143||Top||1-2||Win||100||12 h 24 m||Show|
Calgary at Vegas 10:35 ET
Golden Knights over Flames- Hockey among all sports in probably the streakiest of them all. Here we had Calgary winners of seven straight drop their last two at home and travel the Vegas to play the Golden Knights. Vegas has won four straight after three straight losses and I expect both trends to continue. The home team is 5-0 in the last five meetings and I expect more of the same. Take VEGAS!
|03-06-19||76ers v. Bulls +5.5||Top||107-108||Win||100||12 h 11 m||Show|
Philadelphia at Chicago 8:05 ET
Bulls (+) over 76ers- Philadelphia is certainly a team that has to be recognized as the threat in the East with Joel Embiid in the lineup and now have been able to show that they can win without him in the lineup. The 76ers have won 4-of-6 in his absence and now take their act on the road visiting Chicago tonight off of last night's 114-106 win at Orlando. The Bulls who have made great strides this season although having lost their last two outings. But, the Sixers play down to their opposition as they are 5-11 ATS when play teams with winning percentage under 40%. Finally, the home team is 4-0 ATS in this series and the 76ers are 1-5 ATS in their last six trips to the Windy City. Take CHICAGO!
|03-05-19||Canadiens -129 v. Kings||Top||3-1||Win||100||14 h 30 m||Show|
Montreal at L.A. Kings 10:35 ET
Canadians over Kings- The last time these two meet in October the Kings posted a 3-0 win but things have changed since then as Los Angeles has become an also-ran and Montreal is in the thick of the playoffs. The Kings are off a win over the Blackhawks after having lost their previous nine. Montreal meanwhile is looking for a bit of revenge against a team they know they can dominate. Add that the Canadians are 5-1 in their last six against the West. Take MONTREAL!
|03-05-19||Kansas v. Oklahoma +1.5||Top||68-81||Win||100||12 h 25 m||Show|
Kansas at Oklahoma 9:00 ET
Sooners (+) over Jayhawks- My first thoughts when analyzing the Jayhawks is that they are just not the same quality as pervious seasons. After losing their big man early in the year they haven't fully recovered as their 13-16 overall ATS record would indicate as they are just 3-7 ATS in true road games and 5-9 ATS in all game outside of Lawerence. Oklahoma has two games left before the Big-12 tourney to impress the NCAA Big Dance selection committee. The Sooners are just 3-19 overall against Kansas in the last 22 meetings but have been great ATS 18-8-3 ATS this season and 6-2 ATS as home dogs. Take OKLAHOMA!
|03-05-19||Magic +5 v. 76ers||Top||106-114||Loss||-110||10 h 48 m||Show|
Orlando at Philadelphia 7:05 ET
Magic (+) over 76ers- Both clubs are off of losses last time out and the 76ers are playing with the loss of Joel Embiid for a few more weeks and his absence is glaring. Orlando has been playing well with wins over Toronto, Golden State and Indiana before getting wasted by lowly Cleveland 107-93. This is an awful cheap price for Philadelphia at home where they have already defeated Orlando 116-115 with Embiid in the line-up, without him there is a void. The Magic are 14-5 ATS in their last 19 visits to the 'City of Brotherly Love' and they get the money once again. Take ORLANDO!
|03-04-19||Kansas State v. TCU +2||Top||64-52||Loss||-109||13 h 32 m||Show|
Kansas State at TCU 9:00 ET
Horned Frogs (+) over Wildcats- Well although I was 2-1 with 'our' Top-3 NCAA Best Bets on Saturday, I actually blew it by using the Horned Frogs 'on top' and was blown out by Texas Tech. Now, they get to host No.15 Kansas State who they have struggled against the last five seasons. Kansas State has 'covered' the last two meetings and six of the last eight and is 10-2-1 ATS in their last 13 contests in the Big-12. Although TCU is 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall they are 6-2 ATS at home against teams with winning road records and the home team is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings. With the 'line' under a 3-point bucket the Wildcats become a 'suckers' bet. Take TCU!
|03-04-19||Nuggets +1.5 v. Spurs||Top||103-104||Win||100||12 h 33 m||Show|
Denver at San Antonio 8:35 ET
Nuggets (+) over Nuggets- After reeling off five straight wins the Nuggets have dropped their last two games at home to Utah and New Orleans. San Antonio after losing three straight has recovered and won their last two at home over Detroit and Oklahoma City. With the Spurs 24-7 straight-up at home and 20-11 ATS as hosts and that is pretty good, while Denver is 11-18 ATS on the road. So, what bothers mean here is that with those stats this game is a virtual pick-em and that tell me the Spurs may struggle tonight and that the Nuggets will come to play. Take DENVER!
|03-03-19||Michigan v. Maryland +1.5||Top||69-62||Loss||-110||8 h 53 m||Show|
Michigan at Maryland 3:45 ET
Terrapins (+) over Wolverines- With a victory today Michigan would set a school record for wins with 26 in a single season as they are off of their biggest win margin of the year defeating Nebraska 82-53. The Wolverines have already defeated the Terrapins two weeks ago 65-52 at home and now face a young Maryland squad that is eager for revenge. On the opposite side the Terps are off of their worst loss of the year to Penn State and will be ready for the Wolves here. Maryland is 14-2 SU at home and 8-1 ATS after an ATS loss in their last nine outings. Take the TERRAPINS!
|03-03-19||Blazers v. Hornets +3||Top||118-108||Loss||-115||4 h 23 m||Show|
Portland at Charlotte 1:05 ET
Hornets (+) over Trailblazers- Portland just saw their five game win streak end in Toronto Friday but are still 6-0 ATS in their last six outings. Now, 14-16 on the road the Trailblazers come up the favorite against a needed Charlotte club that is 20-12 straight-up at home. They are 19-7 ATS in their last 26 outings but are in a tough spot here as the home team is 6-1 in the seven meetings. Look for the Hornets to own up to the Blazers who beat them 127-96 in their last meetings in Portland. Not today...Take CHARLOTTE!
|03-02-19||Warriors v. 76ers +4||Top||120-117||Win||100||11 h 52 m||Show|
Golden State at Philadelphia 8:35 ET
76ers (+) over Warriors- What is going on with the Golden State Warriors? The heavy NBA favorites to win it all have hit a rough patch where they are just 1-8 ATS in their last nine games overall. The Warriors who have lost their last two don't seem phased by their current struggle as Stephen Curry said 'just wait until the playoffs' and they are not concerned. Philadelphia has won their last two games without Joel Embiid in the line-up and he may not suit up against tonight, but not to worry as the Warriors are 1-10 ATS in their last 11 meetings in Philadelphia. Take the 76ERS!
|03-02-19||North Carolina v. Clemson +4.5||Top||81-79||Win||100||10 h 39 m||Show|
North Carolina at Clemson 6:00 ET
Tigers (+) over Tar Heels- North Carolina has risen to No. 5 in the polls as they have won four straight since their loss to Virginia but have won 12 of their last 13 straight-up and are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games. Continuing with the Heels the favorite is 9-3-1 ATS in the last 13 meetings. So with these 'numbers' I am surprised NC is such a meager favorite. Clemson is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games and are 12-3 straight-up as hosts. The Tigers defense (63.8) is third in the ACC while the Heels offense is number one. Still, this 'price' is way too low...take CLEMSON!
|03-01-19||Hornets +3.5 v. Nets||Top||123-112||Win||100||11 h 33 m||Show|
Charlotte at Brooklyn 7:35 ET
Hornets (+) over Nets- Last Saturday the Nets pulled off a surprising upset defeating the Hornets at Charlotte 117-115 and the teams have alternated wins and losses in their last seven meetings. Charlotte who is struggling to become playoff eligible have dropped three straight and 5-of-6 and seven of their last nine games overall. Although the Hornets are just 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in Brooklyn but the underdog is 12-5 ATS in the last 17 meetings and they should be good here tonight. Take CHARLOTTE!
|03-01-19||Capitals v. Islanders -103||Top||3-1||Loss||-103||10 h 59 m||Show|
Washington at NY Islanders 9:05 ET
Islanders over Capitals- The Islanders got a bit of personal revenge Thursday as the took down the Maple Leafs 6-1 and is so doing embarrassed former captain John Tavares who left the team via free agency during the summer after nine years as an Islander. These two foes each won on each others home ice already this season and it is time for the home team to cash in...Take the ISLANDERS!
|02-28-19||USC +3.5 v. UCLA||Top||88-93||Loss||-105||9 h 58 m||Show|
Southern California at UCLA 9:00 ET
Trojans (+) over Bruins- These two PAC-12 cross-town rivals are having disappointing seasons but can gain some bragging rights (at least in Los Angeles) with a win here. USC has already taken the Bruins down at home six weeks ago winning 80-67 (-2) as the host club is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings. USC has struggled on the road of late (2-6 ATS) but UCLA is 8-20 ATS against teams with winning records. The Bruins program has been in turmoil since the Ball brothers arrival and the departure of coach Steve Alford in mid-Season. Take USC!
|02-28-19||Wolves +4 v. Pacers||Top||115-122||Loss||-110||7 h 41 m||Show|
Minnesota at Indiana 7:00 ET
Timberwolves (+) over Pacers- Both of these teams blew leads late in their last contests and are off of losses that should not have happened. Minnesota had won four of five and had a 13-point lead ay Atlanta before bowing 131-123 in overtime. The Pacers meanwhile were outscored by eight-points in the final minutes in their 110-101 loss at Dallas. Karl-Anthony Towns has been dominate since returning from concussion protocol averaging 35.5 points and 19 rebounds in two games. The young Timberwolves are 4-0 ATS in the second of back-to-back contests and are 4-0 ATS in their last four meetings in Indiana. Take MINNESOTA!
|02-28-19||Maple Leafs v. Islanders -115||Top||1-6||Win||100||6 h 15 m||Show|
Toronto at NY Islanders 7:00 ET
Islanders over Maple Leafs- Streaking Toronto has won their last three games after a quick three game slide and are 9-4 in their last 13 overall. Although the Maple Leafs are 4-1 in the last five meetings the home team is 6-2 in the last eight encounters the favorite (NYI) is 6-1 in the last seven meetings. The Isles have lost three of their last four and look to rebound from their home loss to Calgary. Take NEW YORK!
|02-26-19||Wisconsin v. Indiana +2||Top||73-75||Win||100||10 h 58 m||Show|
Wisconsin at Indiana 9:00 ET
Hoosiers (+) over Badgers- This has been (even at 13-14) the worst Indiana basketball that I can remember ever seeing as they have lost 12 of their last 13 after a 12-2 start. Wisconsin has had struggles of their own as they are the least impressive ranked team that I have seen this season. The Badgers have won the last five meetings going 4-1 ATS and are 16-5 ATS in the last 21 meetings including 8-1 ATS at Indiana. Indiana has been so bad ATS going 3-10 ATS in their last 13 overall while Wisconsin is 13-4-1 ATS in their last eighteen road games. Still, most of this damage was done against the Hoosiers when they were a favorite and this year's edition lines are reversed. Take INDIANA!
|02-25-19||Pacers v. Pistons -2||Top||109-113||Win||100||8 h 57 m||Show|
Indiana at Detroit 7:00 ET
Pistons (+) over Pacers- This is just the second meeting of the season between these two and Indiana took the first matchup 125-88 at home in December. A lot has happened since then not the least of which was All-Star Victor Oladipo going down for the season. The Pacers with their team style have won their last two while placing seven players in double figures. Detroit who started the season hot goin 13-7 and then fell into a deep hole by winning just four of their next 20. With Indiana having won 8-of-11 meetings and the Piston placed as an underdog here fortunes will turn. Take DETROIT!
|02-24-19||Blues v. Wild -113||Top||1-2||Win||100||9 h 35 m||Show|
St. Louis at Minnesota 7:00 ET
Wild over Blues- Okay, the bubble has burst but the Blues like Esposito with the Bruins score in their rebound game 2-1 defeating Boston in a shootout. St. Louis had their 10-game wining streak stopped and responded with their second straight home SO win, not so lucky this time. Although the stats here will favor the Blues, Minnesota ended a losing streak of their own and now have won their last two. That momentum and a bit of a letdown for St. Louie as they are 5-2 in their last seven visits to the Wild...Not this time. Take MINNESOTA!
|02-24-19||Michigan State +4.5 v. Michigan||Top||77-70||Win||100||6 h 36 m||Show|
Michigan State at Michigan 3:45 ET
Spartans (+) over Wolverines- Upon further review I have revised my initial thoughts on just how good Michigan actually is. The Wolves have won their last 22 home games and have taken the past three against the Spartans but State has some support with trends. To start with Michigan State who has won their last four games after a 3-game skid is 12-4 ATS in their last 16 against the Big Ten and they are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games and the road team is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings. Take the SPARTANS!
|02-24-19||Magic v. Raptors -9||Top||113-98||Loss||-110||4 h 12 m||Show|
Orlando at Toronto 3:30 ET
Raptors (-) over Magic- Orlando had a five-game winning streak where their average margin of victory was 22.8 points and then the All-Star break arrived. Now, when this happens people say the time-off came at the worst of times as they were putting their act together. And then, of course, they lose their first game back at home to Chicago. Okay, as if that isn't enough everyone that has anything to do with the Magic is crying about how they lost there 'mojo' and momentum form the head coach through the ranks of players. Well, suck it up boys this is professional sports. With that attitude I see them going south again. Take TORONTO!
|02-23-19||Iowa State v. TCU +2||Top||72-75||Win||100||14 h 56 m||Show|
Iowa State at Texas Christian 2:00 ET
Horned Frogs (+) over Cyclones- Both these clubs have gone south of late with TCU on a 3-game losing streak and a 1-6 ATS slide. Iowa State came up with a big win against Kansas State last Saturday but are 1-4 ATS in their last five. The Horned Frogs have won the last three meetings including a 92-83 win in Ames as a 10-point dog two weeks ago. TCU is 9-4 ATS in their last 13 home games and with them being such a short dog here against a ranked team I think they do it again. Take TEXAS CHRISTIAN!
|02-22-19||Jazz +4.5 v. Thunder||Top||147-148||Win||100||11 h 45 m||Show|
Utah at Oklahoma City 9:30 ET
Jazz (+) over Thunder- Oklahoma City has won the last four meetings against the Jazz and have won 15 straight regular season home games in this series. The Thunder were hot before the break winning 11 of their last 13 while Utah has won 13 of their last 16. For Utah Rudy Gobert who has been one of better and most productive players in the league claims he is on a 'mission' after being left off the All-Star team and claims to be reenergized after his disappointment. With the numbers so dominate in this series I'm surprised at low the points spread is here. But a though to hold is that the Jazz are 13-3-1 ATS in their last 17 games following a loss and they are off of a close loss to the Warriors. Take UTAH!
|02-21-19||Oregon State v. UCLA -125||Top||67-68||Win||100||11 h 54 m||Show|
Oregon State at UCLA 11:00 ET
Bruins over Beavers- There are numbers (trends) that may affect Oregon State as they just completed a sweep of intra-state rival Oregon for the first time in nine years. I'm sure that the Beavers are ecstatic about their wins over the Ducks but now face a Bruins team that they have already defeated at home (79-66) not completed a sweep of UCLA in 31 years. A a matter of fact they have lost 13 of the last 14 at Pauley Pavillon. The Bruins are 10-5 SU at home and get another victory here. Take UCLA!
|02-21-19||Rockets v. Lakers +3||Top||106-111||Win||100||11 h 19 m||Show|
Houston at L.A. Lakers 10:30 ET
Lakers (+) over Rockets- My only real concern here is if LeBron James will be able to play and be effective. Houston's James Harden has scored 30 or more points in each of his last 31 games and the Rockets are 21-10 in those games. The Rockets are 3-0 against the Lakers this season and have dominated this series going 14-6 ATS in the last 20 meetings including 8-2 ATS in Los Angeles. The Lakers have been without James 17 games and have lost eight of their last 11. With James back to Lakers are different and Houston struggles again sub-500 teams as they are 1-6 ATS against teams with losing records. Add that the Rockets are just 10-18 ATS on the road. Take the LAKERS!
|02-20-19||North Carolina v. Duke -9||Top||88-72||Loss||-105||10 h 13 m||Show|
North Carolina at Duke 9:00 ET
Blue Devils (-) over Tar Heels- #1 Duke has won their last nine while #9 North Carolina has won 8-of-9 and is 6-2 ATS in last eight games overall and 15-6 ATS in the last 21 meetings. But the Blue Devils are 5-3-1 in the last nine meetings. The road team has played well as they are 17-7-1 ATS in the last 25 meetings. Those are some very impressive trends. These are the two top scoring teams in the ACC with the Heels at 87.5 and the Devils at 88.4 at home. Carolina 8-1 SU in true road games and 6-0 ATS in ACC action while Duke is 13-1 SU at home and 8-6 ATS. This 'price' is extremely high and I believe for good reason. Take DUKE!
|02-19-19||Maryland +2.5 v. Iowa||Top||66-65||Win||100||9 h 26 m||Show|
Maryland at Iowa 8:00 ET
Terrapins (+) over Hawkeyes- My first impression of this match-up is that the 'line' looks very suspect as No. 19 Iowa hosts an unranked Maryland squad. When you consider that Iowa is 13-2 straight-up at home a think this line is way too low and a sucker 'bet' for some reason. The Terrapins are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games and are 7-1 ATS after a straight-up loss and they are coming off of a 65-52 loss to Michigan. Iowa is off of a buzzer beating non-cover at Rutgers Saturday and have won their last four straight-up and this line is way low. Take MARYLAND!
|02-18-19||Lightning v. Blue Jackets +115||Top||5-1||Loss||-100||9 h 10 m||Show|
Tampa Bay a Columbus 7:30 ET
Blue Jackets over Lightening- Without question (in my mind) Tampa Bay is the NHL's best this season and they have had their way against Columbus going 5-0 in the last five meetings. The Lightening are 40-13 in their last 53 overall and 40-11 in their last 51 against the eastern Conference. But the Blue Jackets are hot right now winning five of six and looking for payback. Look for Columbus to step up here. Take BLUE JACKETS!
|02-18-19||Virginia v. Virginia Tech +6.5||Top||64-58||Win||100||9 h 0 m||Show|
Virginia at Virginia Tech 7:00 ET
Hokies (+) over Cavaliers- No. 4 Virginia would possibly be undefeated if they did not have to play Duke who has defeated the Cavaliers twice this season for their only losses. No. 16 Virginia Tech fell at Virginia 81-59 on January 15 when both clubs were ranked in the Top-10. The Cavs lead the series all-time 92-56 but are just 21-30 in Blacksburg and these two have split their series on each of the past three years. Although Virginia is 20-6 ATS on the road the home team is 9-3 ATS in the last 12 meetings. With a bit of revenge on their minds the Hokies get it done. Take VIRGINIA TECH!
|02-17-19||Villanova v. St. John's +4.5||Top||65-71||Win||100||8 h 31 m||Show|
Villanova at St. John's 5:00 ET
Red Storm (+) over Wildcats-Villanova has dominated the Big East the past few seasons while going 43-18 ATS in their last 61 games overall and are 11-1 in conference play. The Wildcats have won four of the last five against the Red Storm including a 76-71 home win the first week of January when St. John's blew an 11-point second half lead. But, although Villanova has won four of the last five meetings straight-up the Red Storm is 4-1 ATS in the last five. With this game at Madison Square Garden the Storm's fan base will be raucous. Take ST. JOHN'S!
|02-16-19||Iowa State +3 v. Kansas State||Top||78-64||Win||100||16 h 8 m||Show|
Iowa State at Kansas State 4:00 ET
Cyclones (+) over Wildcats- Kansas State after starting Big-12 play 0-2 have reeled off nine straight conference wins with an SEC loss thrown in the mix and are 10-1 SU at home but just 4-7 ATS. Iowa State is off a crushing loss at home against TCU last Saturday and have had a week to stew over what could have been. The Wildcats are 25-10 ATS in their last 35 Big-12 games including 3-0 ATS in the last three meetings with the Cyclones including a 58-57 win in January. The fact that K.State is 10-1 at home and such a small favorite tells me the odds makers give the Cyclones a shot at winning this game outright. Take IOWA STATE!
|02-14-19||Arizona +3.5 v. Utah||Top||76-83||Loss||-110||11 h 34 m||Show|
Arizona at Utah 9:00 ET
Wildcats (+) over Utes- It appears that the issues that the U.of Arizona has off the court have affected their play on the court. The Wildcats have lost five straight their longest losing streak in 35 years and are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games overall. Utah has been disappointing as well this season and are just 3-8 ATS at home and have been dominated by the Cats since joining the Pac-12. Arizona has won four straight in the series and 13 of 14 including an 84-81 OT win the first week of January and are 6-2 ATS in their last eight meetings in Utah. Take ARIZONA!
|02-14-19||Thunder v. Pelicans +5.5||Top||122-131||Win||100||10 h 56 m||Show|
Oklahoma City at New Orleans 8:00 ET
Pelicans (+) over Thunder- The storyline here should be the amazing run that Russell Westbrook is having with a record 10 consecutive triple-doubles, but instead we have Anthony Davis going into the tank after realizing that he wasn't going to be traded. The flack and push-back about his professionalism has now surfaced as it should after his 3-point effort against Orlando. OKC is 11-5 ATS in New Orleans while the Pelicans are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games against teams with winning records. Note that Westbrook had a quadruple-double last time out with points, assists, rebounds and 'turnovers.' Although the Pelicans have lost eight of 11 they will gather themselves here, it is a matter of personal pride after losing by 30-points last time out. Take NEW ORLEANS!
|02-13-19||Bucks v. Pacers +4||Top||106-97||Loss||-115||8 h 45 m||Show|
Milwaukee at Indiana 7:00 ET
Pacers (+) over Bucks- Whoa, hey I think this 'price' makes a very inviting target for the favorite. Milwaukee is moving into the All-Star break with the best record in the East scoring a league second best 117 points per game. But, Giannis Antetokounmpo has had to sit out this past week with knee soreness and upon his return he was less than the 'stellar' player that we are used to watching. Indiana has been better of late and after dropping four straight and has reeled off six straight wins going 5-1 ATS and when you're 'hot' you're hot as they have won 13 of 15 and four straight against the Bucks at home and 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall. Oladipo goes down no problem...take INDIANA!
|02-12-19||Celtics +7 v. 76ers||Top||112-109||Win||100||9 h 15 m||Show|
Boston at Philadelphia 8:00 ET
Celtics (+) over 76ers- The 76ers flexed their muscles against the Lakers on Sunday and they look to be the big and badass team they think they are. The fire-power they have with Joel Embiid, Jimmy Butler, Ben Simmons, JJ Riddick and now Tobias Harris can play with anybody, anytime. The question is with a 'new' personality thrown into the mix will all that talent jell playing with just one ball. Boston on the other hand knows somewhat team ball is about and have what it take to defeat a talent club w like the Sixers. Boston is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings and 7-3 ATS in the last 10 in Philadelphia. The Celtics have dropped two a-in-row at home to both Los Angeles teams with a letdown the second contest against the Clippers after their last second 'come from ahead defeat' to the Lakers. Boston rebounds Full court...take BOSTON!
|02-11-19||Virginia +1.5 v. North Carolina||Top||69-61||Win||100||8 h 11 m||Show|
Virginia at North Carolina 7:00 ET
Cavaliers over Tar Heels- This will be a meeting between a rock and a hard place as one of the nation's top offensive teams North Carolina will host the nation's top defensive team in an ACC showdown among a pair of Top-10 squads. The Tar Heels have won their last seven and have defeated the Cavaliers 18 of the last 19 meetings in Chapel Hill and the home team is 10-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings. With these impressive trends I would expect the Heels to come up favored but the odds makers sees it differently an 'they' usually have a good reason. Take VIRGINIA!
|02-10-19||Cincinnati +4.5 v. Houston||Top||58-65||Loss||-110||5 h 6 m||Show|
Cincinnati at Houston 4:00 ET
Bearcats (+) over Cougars- Both of these AAC clubs are ranked with the home and favored Cougars at No.12 and Cincinnati No. 23. Both clubs enter today's battle 9-1 in conference play and are meetings for the first time this season. The Bearcats enter on a eight game win streak while Houston has reeled off seven straight wins and are 5-1 ATS in their last six games and 34-16-2 ATS in their last 52 games overall. Both team play tough defense with Cincy taking two of three last season including the conference championship 56-55. Look for this one to come down to the final buzzer a well, take the points. Take CINCINNATI!
|02-09-19||Auburn +2.5 v. LSU||Top||78-83||Loss||-109||12 h 9 m||Show|
Auburn at L.S.U. 2:00 ET
War Eagles (+) over Tigers- LSU has been playing great basketball winning 9-of-10 including a 92-88 overtime win at Mississippi State on Wednesday with their only loss 90-89 to Arkansas. Auburn meanwhile has rallied and won their last three after a 3-game losing streak but has fallen from the Top-25. Seems a bit 'light' for the No. 22 ranked team playing at home to be such a meager favorite for a team that is 11-1 SU at home against a team that is 1-4 SU in true road games. Add that the road team is 7-1 ATS in the last eight meetings and that the War Eagles are 20-8 ATS in the last 28 meetings. It feels like a 'suckers' bet to me...Take AUBURN!
|02-08-19||Heat +3.5 v. Kings||Top||96-102||Loss||-110||10 h 27 m||Show|
Miami at Sacramento 10:00 ET
Heat (+) over Kings- Sometimes I just can't figure out what GM's are thinking when they make trade deadline moves. Sacramento who has been so good to 'us' this season is about to make the NBA playoffs for the first time after a 12-year drought. The Kings' GM Vlade Divac sent forwards Justin Jackson and Zach Randolph to Dallas for Harrison Barnes and have lost some valuable minutes of playing time. Miami meanwhile has a healthy Hassan Whiteside back in action and he is off of his 28 point, 12 rebound and four blocked shots performance in their 118-108 win at Portland. The Heat are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 meetings in Sacramento. Take MIAMI!
|02-07-19||Spurs +5.5 v. Blazers||Top||118-127||Loss||-100||11 h 20 m||Show|
San Antonio at Portland 10:30 ET
Spurs (+) over Trailblazers- Well the Rodeo Trip for San Antonio has started on a poor note as they are 0-2 after last night's 141-102 beating at Golden State. Coach Gregg Popovich was truly upset by the Spurs performance and is pointing out their lack of effort. In head-to-head action the Spurs are 3-1-1 ATS in their last five meetings and will be all-in here. Look for a strong effort from one of the only NBA franchise left with any class at all. Take SAN ANTONIO!
|02-07-19||Houston v. UCF +2.5||Top||77-68||Loss||-105||8 h 13 m||Show|
Houston at Central Florida 7:00 ET
Panthers (+) over Cougars- Houston who enters Orlando on a six-game winning streak is 21-1 on the season earning a No. 12 ranking and is 9-1 ATS in their last 10 road games. Central Florida on the other hand has won 31 home games in-a-row which is the nation's longest active streak. The Knights have won three of their last four and have a huge presence in the middle with 7-6 Tacko Fall who averages 2.8 blocks and will force the Cougars to adjust their shots. Central is just 5-44 All-time against ranked teams but a pair of those wins came the last two seasons. Take CENTRAL FLORIDA!
|02-06-19||Hornets +5.5 v. Mavs||Top||93-99||Loss||-104||9 h 13 m||Show|
Charlotte at Dallas 8:30 ET
Hornets (+) over Mavericks- The Hornets who are just 7-18 SU and 19-9 at home on the road blew a 20-point lead at home against the LA Clippers last night. Charlotte is now one-game under .500 and were destroyed by the Mavericks 122-84 in the last meeting at home and will look forward to the second meeting in Dallas where they are 4-1 ATS in the last five. I suspect that it will take some time for newly acquired Trey Burke, Tom Hardaway Jr. and Courtney Lee in fit in and of course Porzingis is down until next season. Take CHARLOTTE!
|02-06-19||Clemson v. Georgia Tech +4||Top||65-42||Loss||-115||7 h 50 m||Show|
Clemson at Georgia Tech 7:00 ET
Yellow Jackets (+) over Tigers- Streaking clubs that are moving in opposite directions clash in Atlanta where Georgia Tech has dropped their last three games will host Clemson who has won their last two and five of six. The Tigers bounced back after losing five of their first six ACC games but are still just 1-4 Su in true road games and 3-6 ATS overall away from home. Georgia Tech is 15-7 ATS on the season including 9-5 SU at home. The key factor here is the Yellow Jackets record as hosts going 19-8 ATS in their last 27 in Atlanta. Take GEORGIA TECH!
|02-05-19||Heat +7 v. Blazers||Top||118-108||Win||100||12 h 38 m||Show|
Miami at Portland 10:30 ET
heat (+) over Trailblazers- After a slow start Miami finally got to the break-even mark only to drop their last three all at home and are now 3-games under .500 while Portland has won their last three and six of seven as well as eight straight at home. These two met right after Christmas in Miami and the Heat got the best of the Trailblazers 120-111 as a -1.5-favorite but they are 0-4 ATS in their last four in Portland and the Blazers are 5-0-1 ATS in their last six against teams with losing records. 22-7 SU at home and 19-10 ATS. With the addition of Rodney Hood who will see more playing time than both traded players Nik Stauskas and Wade Baldwin will add more quality minutes on the floor. But, it is MIAMI!
|02-05-19||St. John's +7 v. Marquette||Top||70-69||Win||100||8 h 19 m||Show|
St. John's at Marquette 8:00 ET
Red Storm (+) over Golden Eagles- These two met on New Years Day and the Red Storm destroyed the Golden Eagles 89-69 and are now 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings. Since that defeat No. 9 Marquette has reeled off eight straight wins going 7-1 ATS including 5-0 ATS in the last five overall. The former Warriors are 14-0 Su at home (11-3 ATS) 7-1 ATS in their last eight home games and 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games overall. St. Johns was routed by Duke 91-61 Saturday and look to rebound against a quality team that they know they can play with as they already handed the Eagles one of their three losses. It happens again tonight. Take ST. JOHN'S!
|02-04-19||Spurs v. Kings +2||Top||112-127||Win||100||10 h 30 m||Show|
San Antonio Sacramento 10:00 ET
Kings (+) over Spurs- San Antonio who has won five straight is embarking on their annual 'rodeo road trip' where they play eight straight road games that span thru the ALL-Star break. Last season it was a six-game trip that saw the Spurs go 2-4. Sacramento has won their last two including an impressive win over the Sixers on Saturday and is a stellar 18-8 ATS at home while San Antonio is just 10-15 straight-up on the road. The Spurs had defeated the Kings 14 consecutive times (11-4-1 ATS) before their streak was broken by Sacramento in November. Kings rule here...take SACRAMENTO!
|02-04-19||Nuggets v. Pistons +4.5||Top||103-129||Win||100||7 h 33 m||Show|
Denver at Detroit 7:00 ET
Pistons (+) over Nuggets- Denver has won six in-a-row and is just marching thru the NBA season racking up wins and are tied with Golden State for the best record (37-15) in the West. Detroit after a quick start to the season (13-7) has reverted back to form. The Nuggets back court has taken a hit as guards Jamal Murray and Gary Harris are sidelined as they won 107-106 Saturday night in Minnesota and are 4-1 ATS in their last four road games. Detroit has to regroup after blowing a 25-point lead to the Clippers on Saturday as they were outscored 64-36 in the second half. Look for the Pistons to bounce back with a complete effort tonight. Take DETROIT!
|02-03-19||Patriots v. Rams +3||Top||13-3||Loss||-110||54 h 35 m||Show|
Los Angels Rams vs New England 6:30 ET
Rams (+) over Patriots- I had to get this out sooner then later because I don't want to be distracted by any 'October Surprise' so to speak. 'We' have been riding the Patriots throughout the playoffs against the Chargers and two weeks ago again at Kansas City. In both instances the 'public' was against New England and now their attitude has changed and 'they' are overwhelmingly on Tom Brady and crew. The speak I keep hearing is how Los Angeles shown't even be here or that they don't belong here. Well, guess what they are here and the Saints couldn't hold the lead with two minutes to go, so boo on them. The Rams come into this fray 4-0 SU and ATS in their last four while the Patriots have scored 78 in the past two playoff games and any team that scores 70 or more points in two playoff games as a favorite is 0-6 ATS. In Las Vegas the 'sharps' are buying the Rams every time the game moves to +3 as they are jumping on what they consider value as LA did open -1.5. I can't help it and I believe this is a really strong play for the most part because people don't believe the Rams belong. Take LOS ANGELES!
|02-02-19||Rockets v. Jazz -7||Top||125-98||Loss||-110||10 h 28 m||Show|
Houston at Utah 9:00 ET
Jazz (-) over Rockets- Last night 'we' posted Denver as 'our' Highest-Rated' Megabucks and they came though easily as the Rockets were grounded. To tell you the true I see the same thing over again tonight. This is the story of teams that have one player control all the action they can be flashy and win here and there at times but never on a champIons team (ie Westbrook, Maravich, the Big O) they just don't win. Add that Houston has had their runs and they are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games over all and 0-3-1 ATS against the Jazz in the last four meetings! Take UTAH!
|02-02-19||Kentucky v. Florida +4||Top||65-54||Loss||-110||15 h 56 m||Show|
Kentucky at Florida 4:00 ET
Gators (+) over Wildcats- It has been a bit of a struggle for Florida this season as they are 4-4 in their last eight while the Wildcats seem to improve each time out winning their last seven and 9-of-10. One thing though the Gators like getting ready for the spotlight when Kentucky is around as they are 3-1 SU and ATS in the past two seasons. The favorite has made the money seven of the last eight meetings but the home team is 7-2 ATS in the last nine. This could be a stinker with both teams playing such tough defense but Florida only allows 62.7 points per contest and can surprise late. Take FLORIDA!
|02-01-19||Michigan v. Iowa +5||Top||59-74||Win||100||6 h 12 m||Show|
Michigan at Iowa 7:00 ET
Hawkeyes (+) over Wolverines- No. 5 ranked Michigan has rebounded from their single loss at Wisconsin with three straight wins and are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall. The Wolverines have been dominate in Big Ten action going 34-16-1 ATS in their last 51 conference games and are 22-8-1 in their last 31 road games. Iowa has dropped their last two games following a five game winning streak but is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings at home versus Michigan. This is just a good spot for the Hawkeyes to perform well. Take IOWA!
|01-31-19||Xavier +3 v. Georgetown||Top||73-80||Loss||-110||9 h 4 m||Show|
Xavier at Georgetown 8:00 ET
Musketeers (+) over Hoyas- Georgetown came up with the gams they want beating St. John's on Sunday as Patrick Ewing finally gets to gloat over Chris Mullins (believe me Ewing will NOT gloat over Mullins as he has always carried himself with class. Xavier has dropped their last three but it isn't like they didn't show up. Fighting hard they succumbed to Villanova 85-75 and then dropped a pair at home tp Providence 64-62 and faltering down the stretch in losing to Marquette 87-82 on Saturday. I really think the Musketeers here are they are hungry off of three straight losses and they have had great success over Georgetown winning 14 of 18 meetings including six straight Big East meetings. The Hoyas should return to character as they are 14-38-1 ATS in their last 53 home game and the road team is 7-2 ATS and thats enough for me. Take XAVIER!
|01-31-19||Bucks +3 v. Raptors||Top||105-92||Win||100||9 h 33 m||Show|
Milwaukee at Toronto 8:05 ET
Bucks (+) over Raptors- The 'line' says it all to me. I just look at Toronto leading the East in wins, at home where they are 21-4 straight-up, with Kawhi Leonard healthy it doesn't matter to me who the opposition is I feel the Raptors should always be a 5-point favorite at home (excepting the Warriors). But, ya know what they are playing the Bucks who actually lead the East by a half-game who have won 2-of-3 meetings this season including an early December win in Toronto. They are also 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings in Toronto. Take MILWAUKEE!
|01-30-19||Jazz +2 v. Blazers||Top||105-132||Loss||-115||12 h 45 m||Show|
Utah at Portland 10:30 ET
Jazz (+) over Trailblazers- The Jazz have started to put it together winning their last three and nine of their last 10 and they have the Trailblazers in their sights. Utah has won the last three meetings and are 14-12 SU on the road. Portland is one of the stronger teams when playing at home going 21-7 Su and a very profitable 18-10 ATS. The Blazers have won five of their last six and have won seven straight at home but their great backcourt is troubled as Damian Lillard was sidelined Saturday and will be missed. Take UTAH!
|01-30-19||Illinois +6 v. Minnesota||Top||75-86||Loss||-110||11 h 38 m||Show|
Illinois at Minnesota 9:00 ET
Illini (+) over Golden Gophers- Whoa, come on, not here, I really don't want to, but like Texas last night we must. Will somebody set me straight about this Illini team and I imagine that I will learn more tonight. I just saw Minnesota control and defeat Iowa Monday night while Illinois was shocking the Big Ten at Maryland 78-67 and have already ponded the Gophers 95-68 at home. Now most would expect the revenge factor to work for Minnesota but they off of a big home win over Iowa but that is not the norm. Minnesota is not only 2-6 ATS in their last eight at home they are 8-17 ATS in the last 25 versus the Big Ten. Add that the Illini are 21-9 ATS in the last 30 meetings. Take ILLINOIS!
|01-29-19||Bucks v. Pistons +8||Top||115-105||Loss||-115||7 h 23 m||Show|
Milwaukee at Detroit 7:00 ET
Pistons (+) over Bucks- Milwaukee just had a six-game winning streak stopped at OKC 118-112 as a 1.5-point favorite and they haven't lost back-tp-back games this season. The last time the Bucks were in Detroit they won 107-104 as 'the 'Greek Freak' was 15 of 21 from the field with 32 points and 12 rebounds. That brings the series record to 3-0 (2-0-1 ATS) this season against the Pistons. Detroit who is still an Eastern Conference playoff hopeful has dropped three of their last four but is 3-1-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Detroit. The Pistons have had their ebb and flow and is looking get one over the Bucks. Take DETROIT!
|01-28-19||Nuggets v. Grizzlies +6.5||Top||95-92||Win||100||9 h 52 m||Show|
Denver at Memphis 8:05 ET
Grizzlies (+) over Nuggets- After a fast start Memphis has returned to reality losing 21 of 25 and eight in-a-row before Saturday's 106-103 win over Indiana which may be bad news as they are 0-6 ATS after a straight-up win. Denver who is 22-6 SU at home have struggled a bit on the road where they are just 9-13 ATS and have already lost 89-87 at Memphis in early November as they have split the two meetings this season. The Nuggets are off of a pair of blow-out wins against Phoenix and Philadelphia scoring 70 points in the first half of both contests. Tonight, not so much. Take MEMPHIS!
|01-28-19||Duke v. Notre Dame +15||Top||83-61||Loss||-110||8 h 45 m||Show|
Duke at Notre Dame 7:00 ET
Fighting Irish (+) over Blue Devils- I wonder if the beating the Irish took in the FBS championship has had an effect on the basketball team...nah. But, Notre Dame has lost four straight and is just 1-8 ATS in their last nine games. Although the 'Domers' are 10-4 straight-up at home they are just 4-10 ATS as hosts and were just blown out 82-57 by Virginia on Saturday. That loss will have them focused tonight against No. 2 Duke who is putting it together again. Still, at home with one of the nation's elite in town the Irish will show you their best. Take NOTRE DAME!
|01-27-19||Wizards +4.5 v. Spurs||Top||119-132||Loss||-107||8 h 28 m||Show|
Washington at San Antonio 7:00 ET
Wizards (+) over Spurs- This seems like a very 'short' number for this matchup as Washington has struggled mightily on the road winning just six of 24 games straight up and losers of 18 straight in San Antonio with their last win coming in December of 1999. The Wizards are actually playing better of late without John Wall winning eight of their last 12 but are an atrocious 8-21 ATS in the last 29 meetings. But, this is not the same Spurs club by a large margin. This 'price' is suspect. Take WASHINGTON!
|01-27-19||Michigan State v. Purdue +3||Top||63-73||Win||100||13 h 41 m||Show|
Michigan State at Purdue 1:00 ET
Boilermakers (+) over Spartans- Ya know a guy could have gotten rich or gone broke if they stayed with or played against the Spartans as they have won and 'covered' nine straight Big Ten contests this season and have won 14 straight overall. Number five on Michigan State's hit list was a 77-59 won over the Boilermakers three weeks ago as -7 favorites. Purdue has turned thing around winning their last four and seven of eight while going 9-0 straight-up at home. MSU has a pair of other trends supporting their side as they re of course 16-5 ATS in their last 21 and the road team in this series ins 6-2-1 ATS in the last nine meetings but the Spartans haven't won in Purdue since 2014. These two are so even that they own the Big Ten best recored the past five years MSU 60-21 and Purdue 29-21. This time it's PURDUE!
|01-26-19||Warriors v. Celtics +3.5||Top||115-111||Loss||-110||10 h 59 m||Show|
Golden State at Boston 8:30 ET
Celtics (+) over Warriors- Two of the hottest teams in the NBA if not the two best go at it in Boston where the Celtics will host Golden State. The Warriors have won nine straight and now have the addition of DeMarcus Cousins to add to their already powerful lineup. Boston has won five straight of their own entering this contest and will have a pair of veterans returning for this contest as Al Horford and Kyrie Irving are back in the lineup tonight. Boston always seems to be ready for the Warriors are they are 6-1-1 ATS in the last eight meetings. Take BOSTON!
|01-26-19||Kansas State v. Texas A&M +4.5||Top||53-65||Win||100||5 h 39 m||Show|
Kansas State at Texas A&M 2:00 ET
Aggies (+) over Wildcats- Kansas State enters College Station riding a five-game Big-12 winning streak including their third win over a Top-25 ranked team Texas Tech holding them to their lowest out put in four years. while the Aggies have lost six of seven a and are just 2-8 ATS at home while the Wildcats are just 2-3 straight up in true road games. Although K. State leads the series 18-8 A&M is 7-3 straight-up as hosts against the Wildcats. Texas TEXAS A&M!
|01-26-19||Marquette v. Xavier +3||Top||87-82||Loss||-110||5 h 38 m||Show|
Marquette at Xavier 2:00 ET
Musketeers (+) over Golden Eagles- The fact that this is a Big East matchup still has me wondering how teams based in the mid-west are part of the Big East but Marquette enters Cincinnati to play Xavier this afternoon. The Golden Eagles lead the all-time series 50-24 but have lost nine of the 13 meetings since Xavier joined the Big East. A small favorite on the road No. 11 Marquette in just 2-4 ATS away from Milwaukee while the Musketeers are 9-3 straight-up ay home. Take XAVIER!
|01-25-19||Raptors v. Rockets +3.5||Top||119-121||Win||100||8 h 38 m||Show|
Toronto at Houston 8:00 ET
Rockets (+) over Raptors- Through the years in sports one man has never been able to beat a team of five players. Okay, James Harden is a scoring machine but that doesn't always equate to winning as his stats never lie but they can be very deceiving. Houston, has had key injuries that may have forced Harden to dominate the ball even more as none of his teammates have had an assist in any of his last 71 buckets. Toronto leads the East and defeated the Rockets in Houston in their last two visits but were 3-18 straight-up prior to those wins. The Raptors are just 11-14 ATS on the road while Houston is 15-9 ATS as hosts. Take HOUSTON!
|01-25-19||Michigan v. Indiana +5||Top||69-46||Loss||-115||8 h 8 m||Show|
Michigan at Indiana 6:30 ET
Hoosiers (+) over Wolverines- Michigan is off of their worst shooting game of the year but managed to defeat Minnesota 59-57 hitting just 34% of their shots. The Wolverines beat Indiana 74-63 three weeks ago and have won the last five meetings by an average of 14 points. The Hoosiers have dropped five straight but are 10-1 straight-up at home and are 15-7 ATS in their last 22 rod games. Michigan has dominated in Big Ten action going 25-9-1 ATS in the last 35 conference games and they are 21-8-1 ATS in their last 30 road games. Indiana is struggling but the underdog is 7-3 ATS and they should be ready here. Take the HOOSIERS!
|01-22-19||Kings +11 v. Raptors||Top||105-120||Loss||-105||7 h 14 m||Show|
Sacramento at Toronto 7:05 ET
Kings (+) over Raptors- Toronto has the best record in basketball and are 20-4 straight-up at home although just 21-27 ATS on the season. Sacramento who is above the breakwater mark is 27-20 ATS on the year and are 6-3 ATS in their last nine overall while the Raptors are just 1-6 in their last seven following an ATS win. After disappointing yesterday I expect the young Kings to rebound with a great effort here. Take SACRAMENTO!
