Texas is being undervalued here, largely due to a poor showing against TCU in its regular-season finale.

This is a look-ahead spot for Kentucky, which has games with North Carolina, UCLA and Louisville on deck. The Wildcats check in off a 33-point home win over Eastern Kentucky, but they are 21-35 ATS following a blowout win of 20 points or more under coach Calipari.

Atlanta spent a lot of energy in last night’s comeback win over Boston, and it won’t have enough left in the tank to keep this one within the number against a Miami team that had last night off.

Right away, you have to like the fact that November underdogs with a win percentage of 60-75% are 55-29 ATS the last five seasons. Furthermore, Dallas has been an exceptional investment on the road where it is on a 34-17 ATS run.

Memphis is getting a little too much respect from odds makers following back-to-back blowout wins at home. The Grizzlies aren’t a quick-shooting team. They like to throw the ball down to Gasol in the post and work for good shots.
November 25th, 2014
The Pistons won the season’s first meeting 98-93 at home. It was their second consecutive win over the Bucks and fifth in six games (the lone loss came by only three points).

This line is an overreaction to Phoenix’s win over Golden State. The Nets have won five straight in the series and are in good position to extend the streak.
November 11th, 2014
With momentum on their side for the first time this season, I expect the Lakers to put forth a solid effort in Memphis. While they likely don’t walk away with a win, they should be able to keep this one within a generous number.

Look for the defending champs to rise to the occasion following Saturday’s upset loss at home to New Orleans. The Spurs are on a 14-4 ATS run following an upset loss at home, winning by an average score of 107.6 to 94.4 in this spot.
November 7th, 2014
Chicago has been nearly a dead fade as a favorite as it is on a 41-58 ATS slide in the roll. After failing to cover as a favorite in three consecutive games, it came through for backers last time out.
November 6th, 2014
Dallas has been the more consistent team thus far at 3-1 with the lone loss coming by a single point to the defending champs. Portland is 2-2 and neither of its wins are that impressive.

This is a bad spot for the Clippers. They are playing outside Staples Center for the first time this season and are going up against a team that will be out for some serious payback.
