UCLA Bruins vs. Kansas State Wildcats Alamo Bowl Free Pick
UCLA vs K State – ALAMO BOWL – FRIDAY
Play On: UCLA Bruins -1.5.
A Bowl Game here worth watching here folks. Jim Mora and his upstart UCLA team who fell on bad times this season after much preseason hype against a Bill Snyder coached Kansas State team who again exceeded expectations through sound fundamental football and a veteran team with a balanced attack and another good QB in Jake Waters who has more passing yards this season than highly touted UCLA’s QB Hundley. This will be an offensive showcase.
One key in this game is that wily veteran coach Bill Snyder has had almost a month to prepare and K State is a very disciplined team versus Mora’s undisciplined Bruins team, and that will make a difference. Kansas State is a tough and physical team who has more Big 12 wins than any other Big 12 team over the past 3 years and you can be rest assured they are motivated to be here and get the bitter taste of a season ending blowout loss to Baylor behind them. No doubt UCLA would like to forget the 31-10 butt kicking that Stanford laid on them as well, but at days end K State will expose numerous defensive weakness here with preparation and pull off a small upset here as an underdog, a role in which Bill Snyder always excels at.
K State 31 – UCLA 28 – Take the points.
