Washington Wizards vs. Toronto Raptors Free Pick 04/18/15
I’m backing Toronto minus the points. Wizards’ vet Paul Pierce may feel confident in claiming the Raptors…”don’t have the IT that makes you feel worried,” but the Raptors do have the experience of dropping the ball in round-one of the postseason just a year ago, which may prove to season this team for the 2015 opening round. Losing to the Nets in 2014 should have this team focused out of the blocks for the task at hand. Washington has not looked good in road games against teams that are in the postseason, winning just one of their last 10 chances. I also question Randy Wittman’s control of his team. There have been recent games when it has been more than apparent that Wittman, the coach of the team, has not had the final say on who plays and for how long. If this turns into a game of one-on-one, the Wizards own the players…or at least the player (John Wall) to get it done. But with last year’s experience now serving as motivation and focus, I expect the Raptors to take care of business in the first game of the series. I’m recommending a play on the Raptors minus the points. Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer.
Play Toronto Raptors -3.5.
