(3 Unit Play Over) The Chicago Bears offense is pointed in the right direction under Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams. The Bears skill position talent around Williams has improved quickly. He has big playmakers on the outside now, and Williams absolutely has the arm strong and precision deep pass ability to make teams pay for any mistakes in the secondary.

The Bears have a lot of injuries in the secondary, and I don't believe this Chicago defense is as good as they looked last season. They were heavily reliant on forcing loads of turnovers.

Carolina's offense has been good at home in recent seasons.

(3 Unit Play on Bucs) The Cincinnati Bengals have a long history of not being ready for week one. I do think the Bengals have the higher upside of these two teams, but I don't trust them laying more than a field goal against another decent NFL team on week one.

The Bengals are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 week one games. Joe Burrow is a tremendous quarterback, but he has started very slowly in weeks one and two in his career.

The Bengals defense should improve some this year, but it is likely to take some time.

Tampa Bay has the better defense and the Bucs are likely to stay within the number here.

New Mexico State has been very impressive the first two games of the season after playing very competitively against FSU on the road before thrashing Mercyhurst at home last week. Trey Hedden has been a great addition at QB and the receivers are making plays in the passing game. The defense has shown up and played great football, and should have success here as long as the Aggies handle the travel well.

Hawaii has been a trainwreck this season and Micah Alejado is hurt again here. He will play but he missed practice with a lower body injury and HC Timmy Chang made mention of running the ball more. Hawaii does not believe its OL can pass protect and keep Alejado upright and we dont either. The offense is a mess and Hawaii's defense is depleted. We like the dog here.
