Sonny Gray (8-1, 3.12 ERA) vs. Sean Sullivan (0-1, 10.29 ERA) .

Yesterday was quite the brutal loss suffered by the Red Sox, blowing a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the ninth inning. Chapman allowed the first three baserunners of the inning to reach base. Then, he suffered the walk-off & game-losing three run triple. Don't expect Boston to leave any doubt on Tuesday. Sonny Gray steps onto the bump with his phenomenal 8-1 record this season. The Red Sox have been solid on the road this season and I expect bounce back here.

On the other hand, Sean Sullivan gets the nod this evening. He's a rookie that had a strong opening game. But, his next and latest start wasn't good whatsoever. I wouldn't be shocked if the youngster has another rough go around on Tuesday. Hammer the Red Sox.

I understand that laying this juice isn't for everyone. But, I'm willing to do just that on Tuesday in this World Cup encounter between Croatia/Panama. Even though Croatia lost its opening game against England, it was always going to be a hard matchup for 2022's "bronze medalists." I do think that it also was the perfect game to get its feet wet in this tournament before everything starts happening for real. Now, given the loss, these final two group games become very important from Croatia. A slip up today & it could see itself out of the tournament. Looking at this matchup with Panama, I was not too impressed with the offensive ability of the CONCACAF side in its opener against Ghana. Yes, it was the stronger team for the most part in that game. But, the chances really weren't anything special as it finished with a 0.73 xG on four SOT. Don't expect Panama to reach that number today as Croatia will control the majority of the ball. Give me the European side.

Luinder Avila (2-3, 5.50 ERA) vs. Shane McClanahan (6-4, 3.33 ERA) .

Yesterday, the Royals were able to completely shut down the Tampa Bay Rays. I do believe that KC is much better than it's showed so far this season. However, I don't think that it's the better team in this series. The Royals are just 14-24 on the road this season even with yesterday's win. With Luinder Avila on the bump this evening, I don't have much expectations for them.

Looking at the Rays, they'll turn to Mr. reliable, Shane McClanahan. Don't get me wrong, it took a few starts to get his feet wet again & start pitching the way he likes. But, ever since he started pitching in full, he's been absolutely dominant this season. The Rays will be disgusted with yesterday's results. Give me TB to respond on Tuesday evening.
