Let’s try this again. The Blues haven’t put up much of a fight in this series and I was actually stunned by their 5-1 setback in Game 3 on Friday. This is a veteran team only a couple of years removed from a championship and I expected better.

Here, I do look for St. Louis to put up a fight as it faces the prospects of a four-game sweep on Sunday. Note that Colorado is just 5-11 when coming off a road win by three goals or more over the last two seasons, outscored by an average margin of 0.7 goals in that situation.

The Avs have gone 3-6 when coming off a road win in which they scored four goals or more this season, outscored by 1.0 goal on average in that spot.

Of course it’s also important to note that the Blues still hold a decisive 6-3 edge in the last nine meetings between these two teams here in St. Louis.
