The Flyers suffered back-to-back losses over the weekend, first losing 3-2 in OT at Boston and then 5-2 at New Jersey Sunday. Tonight they’re looking to bounce back on home ice where they’ve won four of their last five games, and I think they’re looking good to keep pleasing the home crowd as they’re hosting a Stars team they have dominated over recent seasons.

The Stars are on the rise again after recording their first win in seven games when they defeated the Islanders 3-2 in OT Tuesday. Kari Lehtonen was back to his old self stopping 35 shots and he shut out the Panthers in a 2-0 victory the first meeting of the season.

The Canucks started the season as one of the NHL’s hottest teams, but they’ve now lost four in a row. They’ve conceded 17 goals during that span, and their most recent loss came at home to the New York Rangers by a score of 5-1 on Saturday.
