The Pelicans are a perfect 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games when playing a team that has a home win rate above .600 and they are also 8-0 ATS in their last 8 games against a Southwest division opponent.

Take the Brooklyn Nets as my NBA free pick for Wednesday night. New Olreans is just 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games off an upset win as a dog and they are also just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games played against the Nets.

The Grizzlies host the upstart New Orleans Pelicans on Monday night, and the visitors are 1-1, scoring over 100 points in each of those games. Don’t expect that trend to continue here in Memphis, against a Grizzlies team that is allowing an average of just 86.3 points, ranking first in the NBA.

The Magic were an atrocious 4-37 on the road last season and are 4-21-2 ATS in their last 27 road games. The Pelicans finished last season strong at home where they went 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight. They won last season’s home meeting with Orlando by eight points and were favored by six in that contest.

I know it’s a lot of points to be laying, but I think this one has blowout written all over it. I think New Orleans is one of the big sleeper teams this season. New Orleans won 34 games last year dealing with two big injuries, as Ryan Anderson played in just 22 games and Jrue Holiday played in only 34.
