Los Angeles Kings (Moneyline) ..

Although I do believe that the Penguins are better than this and how they've been playing, it's no secret that the team simply lacks defensive talent. So far on the season, the Pens have allowed the most goals per game. They've also allowed so many SOG's this season which is horrible for a team that just cut their goalie not long ago.

Looking at the Kings, they've been nearly unstoppable at home this season. As a matter of fact, they are 14-2-1 at Crypto Arena this season. LAK is much better than most people give it credit for and I see them winning here again tonight and improving that stupendous record on home ice. This one is going to go in the Kings favor too.

Score Prediction: 5-2 Kings.

Boston Celtics @ Golden State Warriors (Over) ..

After beginning the season so well, nobody expected that Boston would enter this sort of slump over these past few games. Now, normally you wouldn't call this a slump. However, this is the Celtics and it can most definitely be considered as a slump for this teams' standards. Having said that, the C's are still in 2nd in the East while averaging the 4th most PPG in the NBA this season.

On the other hand, Golden State's slump might be over. The Warriors had been losing a lot and things were starting to look very bad for them as a whole. However, now they've won consecutive games while scoring 116+ in both of the games. I expect this one to be a very close game, and for it to be high scoring on Monday late afternoon. I'm on the "over."

Atlanta Hawks (ATS) ..

It's been known for a couple of years now and they've already showed why people think this now. The Hawks own New York, especially at MSG. Trae Young always seems to play his basketball on this court and in front of these fans. Ever since he's come into the league, it's been the Knicks fans who've hated him the most. I'm expecting him to keep proving why he's so good against them once again this afternoon.

Looking at the Knicks, they are the better team on paper. However, New York doesn't have depth at all. As a matter of fact, the Knicks are playing their starters nearly all game long with only a couple of capable substitutes. I believe that the Hawks will outwork them tonight and that will lead to another upset victory. Hammer the Hawks.

Score Prediction: 123-109 Hawks.

Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders (ATS) ..

Despite being on the road this evening, this is a game that Texas A&M Corpus Christi should be winning. On the season, the Islanders are 13-6. They've been on an absolute tear recently having won six consecutive games. Not only that, but they've won three straight road games. The Islanders are averaging 81.5 PPG this season which is nearly 15 points more than their opponents score this year.

Talking about their opponents, Houston Christian will be on the other side of them this evening. The Huskies are only 7-11 so far and are only playing .500 basketball on their home court. Their home court is not very big whatsoever (seats 1000 people max) and gives them hardly any edge if any.

In conclusion, being on the road should not be the deciding factor in this game. Texas A&M Corpus Christi is a very good basketball team and should have an excellent chance in getting back into the Big Dance this season. I expect them to win this game by double digits on the road on MLK Day.
